My blog's alive once again !

After so long of studying and striving ( well, I still went on facebook )
SPM is now of the past....
It was an experience
Thank God that I never fell sick, not even once !
even though there were some nites that I slept really late....

I was quite last minute, and I really mean last minute
like the day before physics, I was so relaxed until the evening
when I started cramming in like crazy !

Thank God for giving me peace throughout the exams.....
Through every paper, He helped me finish it just in time !

Last last Saturday, Wilson preach and taught about the 5 Love Languages ( by Josh Harnett )

Thanks to sarah Choong, we had all these nice illustrations....

so, the 5 are physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service and gifts.

if you enjoy shaking hands with people, or hugging others in times of crisis or other physical ways ( appropriate ways ) , then your love language is Physical Touch
If you feel hurt when someone else feels weird when you hug them, etc, this confirms that your love language is what's above, if not ....

then it could be Words of Affirmation.

you just love encouraging people with your words

Affirming one another with your words, bible verses, etc.

Adding to that, these words cheer you up and make your day.

then your love language gotta be Words of affirmation.

It also could be acts of service, which is mine too.

You just enjoy serving one another in love... love to you is being practical !

1. I'm not Black !

- Though I sing like one and act like one sometimes, I'm still not black ... though I wish I could run like one... well Dream on !!!

- Though I am said to be able to do this, please la.....

3. I do not sing dark songs in A minor
- Only Alicia Keys does that, though I sing her songs sometimes, I usually sing in F or G, Joshua, you should know, when you play the guitar when I lead, it's not A minor ... not dark songs either. I'm not part of any rock band...

Finally, debates has ended.... debates at secondary school.. at Nationals. We won the first round but lost in the quaters, could not make Penang proud though. But still the most treasured experiences were making friends ! Having fun and showing our team spirit... Thanks to Joshua, Nik Rashid, Nelson, and Nicholas for making this trip to Kedah so memorable. Also to the Kedahans and Johoreans, You all are the best !!! had so much fun with you all there... Congrats to Perak for winning, You all did an excellent job !!!
Well, will be blogging on the trip and my life in debates later... But will I still be debating ????

Just recently, I typed the sentence above into Facebook. A few friends asked who it is....
Well who it is ????... no not it... my love is not an animal... They asked, Who she is ?
You tell me ... who she is ???

No one la..... Just wrote it to see people's responses...I'm not in a relationship.. just too busy, debates, studies, and the list goes on and on. Dont' get me wrong ok... I don't think I'll be single all my life, no, I hope not unless it's God's will.... and I'm not gay, that's definitely not God's will.. hahahah!!!! don't wanna make my life more busy and complicated, you know girls can be so complicated... That's open for debate...

I really admire my friends who are in a relationship, yet can excel so well in their studies.. Must really know how to divide their time well. But, still girls are not my priority right now.

i'll just leave it to God who holds my future in His hands. So many times I've heard news that people get heart broken and torn into pieces because of love... Why all the stress ??? Can't we just wait for God's timing.. He knows best ! Why worry about tomorrow when tomorrow can worry about itself ??? So I'll just trust in Him, Pray for a life patner that seeks after God's own heart.... Just In His time !

A tale by a COCKROACH

One day, I decided it was my time to show myself to the world. I chose the house of the Samar's at about 1 a.m. on a beautiful night of peace and tranquility. Mind you I have wings and can fly ! and fly very well indeed !

Looks like everyone's asleep, but I see a light in the living room, ooo, looks like Samar jr. is still studying, Sejarah is it ??? should be... I think I'll disturb him. Remember, I'm not like R. Kelly who believes he can fly but cannot fly... I really can fly, just need to spread my wings and fly. That's precisely what I did.

I decided that I would disturb Samar jr. So I fluttered my wings to attract his attraction. Mind you, I was quite far away from him. That's because I have heard stories from my parents and grandparents that Samar jr. becomes violent upon seeing coakcroaches.

Around 50% of my relatives had died when they came out in public. A third of all of them was mercilessly killed by Samar jr. by horrandeous means... Some were toutured with water through the shower in the toilet until they overturned and turned back... Many tried to safe themselves but then Samar jr. had a whole bucket of water waiting to flood them into their graves down the pipes. Others were wacked with slippers that smashed them into pancakes of white juice while others..... it's just too violent, not just rated 18-SG but rated 58-SG , no, no, even those older than that will get a heart-attack when the see teh violence of that Samar jr.

Well, back to me. I got his attention. He looked pretty afraid at first . That's when I knew it was time for revenge. REVENGE !!!!!! Then he actually came closer to me. I flew higher up the wall. There was no where else that is a more strategic spot to set my target --- well I chose to aim for his hair and poop there.

But all of a sudden, he ran into the room. Weird ??? What does he want to do there ? Hide, definitely. After a minute or so, the door opened. He took out something blue that looked like a huge bottle. I saw that the cover read "SHIELDTOX" .

Heard about it before .. guess it's used to kill mosquitoes.. Weird ah, Samar jr thinks he can kill me with that bottle. Isnt' Samar jr. a little crazy, or maybe he's just tired. The "SHIELDTOX" will not kill me !!! or even shoo me away....

Then, he sprayed it straight at my face... AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH... the Air Pressure that was so poweful, it was blowing me away like a tornado, I held on tight. .. It smelled so horrible like toxic.... I knew I had to escape. I tried to fly away but I was feeling much weaker. It must have been that blue bottle which had magic powers !!!

I fell onto a pile of something. The violent Samar jr. continued to spray until I could not breathe. I fell to the floor. Before Samar jr. could kill me, I escape into a room....

That room was dark. There were two humans sleeping, guess it must be two other Samar jrs. but they were female. fast asleep... Finally I get to rest . The violent Samar jr. will definitely not come in the room of else the other Samar jrs. will start screaming at the top of their voices.

I knew I was going to survive but then I felt weaker and weaker and weaker. I began to crawl close to one of their beds. Stay Strong ! My mind told me... HOLD ON !!!! Never give up !Then I died there.

Epilogue
The poor cockroach actually died beside Joanne, the violent Samar jr.'s peaceful cousin. It was an approriate grave as it was beautiful to die next to the girl the cockroach loved and adored....... However, in the morning, Joanne got a shock of her life as she discovered that a cockroach had slept/ died beside her the whole night....... Well, all because of that evil Samar jr. !!!!!

might as well start with this at Phuket.

We were touring teh place and we stopped at a animal entertainment park...

small one though. It was fun, very fun indeed....

The python, is it a phython ??? snake la...

the animal trainers wanted one of us to try teh grip of teh snake.....

My cousins, aunties and uncles decided that the poor guinea pig would be me...

teh python grip my leg tight... the more I struggled, the more it gripped... it's muscles were moving and tightening its grip on my feet.

was a little scary but thank God for Mr. Glycerol and Mrs. Fatty Acid that prevented my dear bones from breaking.

The Python and I ....wondered whether it would be used for the soup that we're eating for dinner... nola, not so evil.

Well, here I am enjoying animal entertainment
when I debated against animal entertainmant at teh HELP University College debates.
What an irony...

The animal trainer tied and hands and said that I was kidnapped and trown in th jungle..

Than, the monkey saved me...

( the monkey is untying th eknot round my hand, without much interest though... )

Thailand is definitely a nice place to visit....

Though I'm like "the Sunshine Mother" and " the Overly Optimistic Chimp" (was called that before...), I still do worry about my future..... sighs !!!! What am I gonna be ???

I actually want to be a Maths teacher at the best school in the world PFS ! after SPM but see how la.... While waiting for results, gotta work, do something worthwhile, not just laze arond.... I can't afford to feel bored. Well, I was not chosen for NS not that I want to go but I seriously don't mind, I'm adventurous and optimistic... probably will enjoy myself there, but still 3 months is too long, can't do other things like study or work....

The Dart Test...

A young lady named Sally, relates an experience she had in a seminary class, given by her teacher, Dr. Smith. She says that Dr. Smith was known for his elaborate object lessons.
One particular day, Sally walked into the seminary and knew they were in for a fun day.

On the wall was a big target and on a nearby table were many darts. Dr. Smith told the students to draw a picture of someone that they disliked or someone who had made them angry, and he would allow them to throw darts at the person's picture. Sally's friend drew a picture of someone who had stolen her boyfriend. Another friend drew a picture of his little brother. Sally drew a picture of a former friend, putting a great deal of detail into her drawing, even drawing pimples on the face. Sally was pleased with the overall effect she had achieved.

The class lined up and began throwing darts. Some of the students threw their darts with such force that their targets were ripping apart. Sally looked forward to her turn, and was filled with disappointment when Dr. Smith, because of time limits, asked the students to return to their seats. As Sally sat thinking about how angry she was because she didn't have a chance to throw any darts at her target. Dr. Smith began removing the target from the wall.

I am just so clumsy !!!! Wherever I go, I knock into things and fall down..... like just last saturday in church... while practicing for praise and worship, I stepped on a toy fish that had fell earlier from a net ( decoration for the CIDS church ).

The whole fish was smashed into pieces as seen above, haiyah....

A few weeks ago, I broke my charger... can you see teh weird leg at the back ?

My charger couldn't go in, so I wacked it hard, and it broke... Clumsy la me !!!!

First, the first question:

Adam=930 years

-130 (adam to seth) 800 years left on earth for Adam

-105 (seth to enosh) 695 ”

-90 (enosh to kenan) 605 ”

-70 (kenan to mahalalel) 535 ”

-65 (mahalalel to jared) 470 ”

-162 (jared to enoch) 308 ”

-65 (enoch to methuselah) 243 ”

-187 (methuselah to lamech) 56 ”

-182 (lamech to noah)

uh oh. 126 years short. So no, Adam was not alive when Noah was born.

Neither was Seth. He was 14 years short.

Seth’s son was alive, be when he died Noah was only around 100 years old.

Where am I going with this? Question number two.

Was Methusela (or anyone else) alive at the time of the flood?

The short aswer is…yes. Methuselah was. Now let’s take that a step further.

Was anyone other than Noah, his sons and their family alive? The answer is…yes.

Methuselah had 969 years on Earth.

When Lamech was born he only had 782

When Noah was born he only had….600

When Noah’s sons where born he had….100
At this point Noah was….500 years old.

Genesis 7:6 reads:
Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.
So during the year of the flood Methuselah was exactly… 0 years away from dying. So, either he died in the flood, he died before the flood, or he went on the ark.

1. He went on the ark- no.

Genesis 7:13 says “On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.” Clearly Methuselah was not on the ark.

2. He died before the flood- possible.

Genesis 7:11 reads:
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month - on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. 12 And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.
So going by probability, what are the chances that he, after living for 869 years, just happened to die a few weeks before the flood? Not all that likely.

3. He died in the flood- probably.

oing by pure odds, it would seem more than likely that Methuselah died in the flood.
What does that mean? I don’t know. I guess he was evil. It seems odd that someone who was given such a long life by God even as people were getting less long-lived, ended up dying in one

of God’s forms of punishment. Maybe he did die before the flood, but chances are he didn’t.

I had lots of fun... though we lost in the octo-finals... I had a chance to go SHOPPING !!!!!!

This was taken just yesterday at a family gathering

My aunt and her family had come back all the way from England

Khai Ray was moody when he arrived..

Then, he began to cry

( usually cries when there are a lot of people around )

Then, he began to warm up....

And walk around

Khai Ray is a really active baby .....like a robot... walks round and round all the tables,

falls down, gets up again, walks then runs and the whole process repeates itself.

He would knock into things and Joanne and I took turns to look after him (more like chase after)

Why am I smiling so happily ??? actually, I dunno too.... Well, it's most probably because I just got RM 50 note by a very generous man, at the coffee shops or dim sum restaurants along Gurney Drive.. Thank God for His favour. I managed to collect almost a full tin with loads of one ringgit too by 10.45.... and that's just 3 hours collecting. I actually enjoy flag day ( I get to walk all over the place.... ) That's because I love walking. This year, I joined Paalan ( my classmate of 6 years and schoolmate of 11 years ) and Kenneth ( my HSL ) to collect the money. We started off at Pulau Tikus Market then went to Gurney Drive. Kenneth decided to go somewhere else. Paalan and I collected loads along Gurney Drive and we had lots of fun too. Laughing all the way... My last year d......Sighs

Just the other day at the Tapah resthouse, something really funny happened to me..... Well, I followed Uncle Choo in his car to the Hot Springs. So, I wanted to eat something... and I saw "Daily Fresh" , something new at the r&r ( to me ). So, I saw something that looks like chocolate ice-cream... looks yummy....

then ordered it...reached into my pocket.....and then......... I realised MY MONEY IS NOT HERE !!!! It was in the car in the booth...Uncle Choo & the rest were at Dunkin Donuts... ( which is really far-on the other side of the resthouse ). HOW ??????? I ask if the order could be cancelled... He said they had already started to make it. I told the guy to wait for a while.......

I ran like nobody's business to Dunkin and told Uncle Choo....... He lend me some money.... And I ran all the way back.... I thought the guy would come and look for me.....but he didn't ( relief ! )
Then I went back... paid ( They actually froze the thing... not throw it away ). I was breathing so heavily...... at least I now had ice-cream....

I laughed to myself as I enjoyed the ice-cream... funny things do happen.... when you're away from home and when you're least expecting it.......

On Sunday, my family, my parents' friends and I went for a buffet... My parents' friends gave us a treat ! This is what I had.......

Last fri, I went to pasar malam with my cousin, Joanne....... It's been so long since i ever went to one. By the way, I enjoy going to pasar malam, everything is so CHEAP !!!!!!!!!!!!! And, it's my first time at the one behind my house...weird ah? after it started two years ago ( I guess ). Well, that's because I attend Cell group ( PASSION & BUHNANAS ROCKS !!!!!! ) every fri. This week was supposed to be MGCG but we're going on a trip to Perak on monday so it was cancelled. My cousin and I enjoyed ourselves....... I bought a watch too. Matthew Elliot Jansz-Ch'ng. Yes that's his full name. Cool, right ? His a mix of Chinese and Dutch ( though he looks like a pure Chinese ) ..... We are in the same class now since Form 2. But we only got to know each other really well since Form 4 as we sat together in class. Well, I'm really noisy, so sitting next to me is like God teaching you patience or even only for the deaf.....Not to say Matthew is deaf. But he is so patient. So, I'll sing and sing LOUDLY even when the teachers are teaching...... Later, Matthew started singing too..... Yes, Spread my singing virus !!!!! But, he was more controlled of course. In Add. Maths lessons, he would help me a lot.... He's PROFESSIONAL in Physics and Add. Maths !!! Way to go, Meethiu !!! ( One teacher calls him that ). Well, this year, we decided to sit together again..... ( Well, Matthew can stillllllll tolerate me ) Scott also sits next to me ( like in the photo - Please excuse Kean Por in the back as he's reading sejarah.....which is kinda boring ). I'm really full of myself especially this year. So, when I start to boast, Scott, being a fellow debator, would tell me to " GO ! TALK TO THE WALL " ( thanks Scott for always bringing me down to earth ) . However, Matthew still listens to me brag ( the same thing everyday ). Well, we also share food together....It's fun, you know, Just the other day, Matthew brought a really delicious and mouth-watering piece of pizza......He said : Come, I share with you.... My friends also wanted it.....but he said : I share with Benedict because he always share food with me... I was so touch and happy to hear that....seriously. Matthew's so sweet. Being a messy person, my books always *WALK* to Matthew's table. But, he still does not mind. Then, I scold him for putting his book on my table. ( By now, no one wants to sit next to me...... ) This year , Matthew sings more too, sometimes with a chipmunk high-pitched voice that makes my day. Matthew does have fun too. One is a secret ( something to do with latex bands, actually rubber bands in braces.... ). Yeah, I forgot, Matthew has lots of pimples... uses lots of cream.... thus, his face shines !!!! Matthew is also busier than a bee, much busier as he's active in co-curricular activities but still excel in studies, helps me a lot too. He's really enthusiastic about frisbee as he is from Georgetown Baptist Church and the main rason why my school is sending a frisbee and captain ball team for the Wave Challenge ! Go, PENANG FREE SCHOOL ! So, I really want to say, Thank you, Matthew! May God bless you today on your birthday and the days to come........ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEETIU !!!!!!!!!!!

It was discovered that not one, not two but four rats were murdered !!!!

A whole class of Homo sapiens....

The population of our rat decreased by four....

Happy Chinese New Year ! Well, I do celebrate Chinese New Year too as my mom is Chinese. For those who don't know, I'm a mixed blood of Sing-halese ( a race in Sri Lanka ), Chinese and Thai. It's great to be mixed, ROJAK, cos I get to celebrate the major festivals in Malaysia. This photo was taken on our way to the mainland closeby Penang Bridge on the second day of CNY. My sis and I, of course. We were going to our Uncle's house in Sungai Dua. Collected lots of ang pow !!!!!

This is the traditional lion dance equipment and the doll, I don't know what it is called. There's a firecracker in the middle. The lion dance was interesting !!!!! The troup performed really well. The doll was cute too. I wondered how the musicians could take the loud drums, most probably used to it d. Then, FIRECRACKERS !!!!!!!!

Then, Chai Sen Ye ( God of Prosperity ) arrived. Wearing shades?????? Latest fashion probably ??? We got him to take a picture with us, my cousin, myself, and my sister. We had a great time talking to our cousins ( as we don't see them often ). Later, we went for dinner. Tossing Yee Sang !!!!!!! sadly, no yam sengssss. Oh !

New shoes, finally!!!!!! After about a year or so thinking and looking for white leather shoes, I finally got a pair. It's so stylish, especially cos I'm black and it's white, on no, I feel like that Katy Perla girl ( that's what the Kedah debaters call Katy Perry ). Anyway, it's a WALLABY, an austrailian brand.

I wore the shoes for Chinese New Year and also to church. This photo was taken at the beach near Penang Bridge. The other pair of legs are my sis's. Matching, isn't it???? Well. we were waiting for our aunty there as we were going to Sungai Dua on the mainland for CNY. Thus, I decided to take some photos there.

Isn't the sole beautiful, anyway, you can't really see the sole as it's all black. But there are intricate desings on it too. Well, joshua says I should only get these shoes when I'm a celebrity, but I"M ONE D !!!! in your face, hahaha ! ( Please forgive me, I'm so perasan ).
